DIESEL MECHANIC – FIELD SERVICE MECHANIC
Rhinos Diesel Services is looking for a Field Service Diesel Mechanic based in Darwin to join our team.

This is a varied and hands-on role involving diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and rebuilds on a wide range of earthmoving, civil, and construction equipment —both in the field and in our , up-to-date Yarrawonga workshop .

About the Role

You'll be working across:

Field service – equipped with a contemporary fleet of well-set-up vehicles

Workshop-based repairs – in a clean, spacious, and breezy facility fitted with multiple overhead gantries, overhead crane, Big As Fans

Work includes
Diagnostics and fault-finding
General repairs and maintenance
Component repairs and rebuilds
Working independently and as part of a close-knit team

What We Offer
Full time or Casual work , Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Site work opportunities available when interested
Flexibility with personal/family commitments
After-hours and site allowances paid




Very competitive pay rates – $50 to $75 per hour , depending on experience , site vs workshop work , and full-time or casual preference . After rate reviews – final rates may exceed the advertised range. Overtime and allowances are paid separately and not included in this base rate.

What We're Looking For
Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III) 2 plus years post trade
Experience working on earthmoving or construction machinery
Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
Comfortable working both solo and as part of a team
