An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Centre Commissioning Manager to join a leading engineering and infrastructure organisation delivering hyperscale and enterprise data centre projects across Australia.

We're looking for a commissioning professional with a strong contractor background, who has hands‑on experience delivering Level 1 and Level 2 Testing & Commissioning (T&C;) activities on complex mission critical projects.

The Chance

Working within a growing national data centre team, you'll take ownership of the commissioning process, ensuring systems are tested, validated and handed over to the highest standards. You'll work closely with construction teams, clients, consultants and specialist subcontractors to deliver critical infrastructure that operates flawlessly from day one.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage commissioning activities across major data centre projects.
Plan, coordinate and oversee Level 1 and Level 2 Testing & Commissioning (T&C;) activities.
Develop commissioning programmes, procedures and documentation.
Coordinate subcontractors, specialist vendors and client representatives throughout the commissioning process.




Manage defect resolution, witness testing and system validation.
Ensure all commissioning activities meet project specifications, quality standards and programme requirements.
Work collaboratively with design, construction and operations teams to achieve successful project handover.

About You
Demonstrated experience commissioning mission critical or data centre projects.
Contractor experience delivering complex building services or mission critical infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical building services systems.
Proven experience carrying out and managing Level 1 and Level 2 Testing & Commissioning activities.
Excellent planning, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work within rapid-paced, technically challenging project settings.
