Field Service Technician - Agricultural Diesel Mechanic

Position: Full‑time permanent role based in Altona, Melbourne, Australia. Hourly rate is $45–$50. Overtime is available. Company vehicle, laptop and mobile are provided.

What you will do
You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the top performance of GRIMME equipment.
Provide repair and service support in workshop and field.
Engage customers, deliver machine product demonstrations, start‑ups and special projects.
Support customers in troubleshooting and diagnostics, ensuring operational continuity.

About you
Experienced in field and workshop repair of agricultural machinery, ideally harvesting machinery.
Robust ability to interpret hydraulic/electric schematics and diagnostics.
Commitment to health, safety and wellbeing.




Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel for extended periods.
Current driver’s licence required; forklift licence preferable.
