Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team in Bundoora, Victoria. This permanent, full-time position is essential for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to our diverse patient population. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders, thereby enhancing the quality of life for our clients and supporting their families.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ speech, language, and communication needs.
Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to each client’s requirements.
Provide therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, ensuring a supportive setting.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
Educate clients and their families about communication disorders and effective strategies for improvement.




Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Participate in ongoing career development and training to stay current with best practices in speech pathology.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) or eligibility for membership.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a medical or rehabilitation workplace.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proficient in using assessment tools and therapy techniques relevant to speech pathology.
