We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Data Modelling , SSIS , and Power BI to support the enhancement and optimization of enterprise reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Fine-tune and optimize existing data models to improve reporting performance and scalability.
Design, develop, and maintain productive data models for Power BI reporting.
Develop and enhance SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple source systems.
Integrate new data feeds from various source systems into the existing data warehouse and reporting workplace.
Build and optimize Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards to deliver accurate and actionable business insights.
Improve query performance using optimized data modelling techniques and DAX.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and implement scalable solutions.
Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across ETL and reporting layers.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance throughout the reporting lifecycle.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering.
Solid experience in Data Modelling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Dimensional Modelling).
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS for ETL development and data integration.
Strong expertise in Power BI , including Power Query, DAX, data modelling, dashboards, and report development.
Experience working with SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries.
Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization for Power BI datasets and reports.
