RGM MAINTENANCE has been providing maintenance and repair solutions across Australia’s transport industry since 2002. We are a trusted service provider for major fleet operators, including Defence, fuel transport, and are continuing to grow.

We’re looking for a motivated individual with experience in a senior workshop position. This role offers the chance to manage and oversee the work on a wide range of vehicles, including Defence refueling fleets based at RAAF Tindal as well as maintain local fleets of heavy/ light vehicles.

The Role

As the Workshop Manager, you will oversee a small team of skilled workshop staff, including an apprentice, ensuring high-quality workmanship and a safe, efficient working environment. You will work closely with our Workshop Administrator to liaise with customers, schedule work, and ensure jobs are invoiced and closed off accurately and on time.

What We’re Looking For
Qualified Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Previous experience in a workshop leadership or senior technician role
Robust communication and customer service skills
Ability to lead a small team effectively
Organised, proactive and safety-focused




Ability to follow instructions, problem-solve and work as part of a team
Current driver’s licence (HR licence an advantage)

For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to undertake trade training and gain further qualifications.
