About the Role

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to strengthen our financial reporting, controls, and commercial insights. In this fast‑paced, high‑volume workplace, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

This is a full time position based onsite at our Frosty Boy facility in Yatala.

What You’ll Be Doing
Own month‑end close activities, including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Prepare BAS, PAYG, FBT, and other statutory returns, and support compliance with IFRS/AASB and internal controls.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for COGS, overheads, and margin drivers.
Track and reconcile trade spend, rebates, discounts, and promotional programs, ensuring accruals align with commercial agreements and providing visibility on ROI.
Maintain accurate inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, and SKU costing across warehouses, production sites, and 3PLs.




Investigate purchase price variance (PPV), production variances, wastage, and write‑offs.
Support ERP and financial system enhancements and identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.

What We’re Looking For
Degree in Accounting/Finance; CA/CPA qualified
Advanced Excel skills and experience with large ERP systems e.g. SAP, Oracle, D365
High attention to detail, robust analytical skills, and a commercial mindset.
Confident communicator who can explain financial concepts to non‑finance teams.
Thrives in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or other high‑volume environments is highly advantageous.
