Our client, a Federal Organisation is looking for the services of a Senior Java Developer.
About the role The contractor will be overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers.
Duties
Design, implement, manage, and support high performance, scalable J2EE applications on Linux platforms;
Sustain the development through domain driven design, test driven development, pairing, maintainable code, code reviews, adhering to team conventions and strategies.
Skills / Experience
Proficiency in Service Oriented Architecture / Web Services - SOAP / REST;
Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and supporting high-performance scalable Spring Boot;
Demonstrated experience Web Technologies and frameworks like Bootstrap, Thymeleaf, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery;
Demonstrated experience Unit testing tools like JUnit or Test NG, and unit testing strategies;
Experience using build tools like Maven.
