Role Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Sydney CBD office.

In this role, you will take ownership of complex litigation and advisory matters from commencement through to resolution, working closely with the Principals to deliver outstanding legal and strategic outcomes for our clients. You will manage matters independently, exercise sound qualified judgement, and know when to seek strategic input. Beyond technical excellence, this role plays an significant leadership function within the firm.

You will mentor junior lawyers, contribute to the development of firm systems and processes, support business development initiatives,

Qualifications
Admitted to practise law in Australia with a current practising certificate.
Minimum five years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation, dispute resolution or a related practice area.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex litigation and advisory matters.
Excellent drafting, legal research and advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
Experience supervising, mentoring and developing junior lawyers.
Strong commercial judgement, discretion and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.
Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
Experience in defamation, privacy, reputational risk or media-related matters will be highly regarded.
Experience with Smokeball or similar legal practice management software is desirable.
