Parkside Constructions (NQ) Pty Ltd trading as Tropical Homes is a division of the Parkside Group of Companies, a leading, privately owned Australian company with diverse operations in sawmilling, timber manufacturing, timber and hardware, land and property development, home construction, and retirement industries. We are currently seeking an Architectural Draftsperson to join Tropical Homes.

About the Role:

As our Architectural Draftsperson, you will play a key role in creating detailed architectural drawings and plans for our homes. You’ll work closely with the construction and sales teams, assisting the Construction Manager with design allocations and supporting the estimating team. This role offers variety and the chance to collaborate across departments.

Role Responsibilities:
Develop architectural plans and designs for both custom and spec homes
Collaborate closely with our sales and construction teams to ensure accurate and timely drafting.




Support the Construction Manager in design allocations and other tasks to ensure smooth project workflows.
Revise plans as necessary to meet building regulations and project standards
Prepare documentation and liaise with council or certification bodies as required

Skills & Experience:
5+ years of residential drafting experience, ideally in new home construction
Experience with architectural design software (Revit preferred but not required). We provide software based on your experience requirements.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders
