Job Description

OUR STORES ARE LOCATED ON SYDNEY'S NORTHERN BEACHES - MANLY, DEE WHY AND FRENCHS FOREST AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR COOKS FOR ALL 3 STORES.

Casual Position - A GYGCook is at the heart of the restaurant operations. You will be preparing fresh and delicious food, problem solving and weighing-in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavours. You'll have the opportunity to utilise fresh ingredients to produce high standard products for our new and regular guests.

Experience is helpful, but it's not everything. What we mean is:
Kitchen experience is great but not essential
Is open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
'Can do' attitude and can be relied upon

Qualifications




Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy workplace
Basic food preparation skills and willingness to learn new techniques
Strong team player mentality with excellent communication skills
Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but not required
Passion for food and creating memorable dining experiences
