We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant with 2–4 years of experience in public practice to join our team. You will work closely with senior accountants and managers to prepare tax returns, financial statements, and assist clients with a wide range of tax and business advisory matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare individual, partnership, trust, company, and tax returns.
Prepare financial statements and BAS/IAS for various entities.
Conduct tax research and assist with complex tax matters under guidance.
Communicate with the ATO and other regulatory bodies.
Build solid client relationships through timely and accurate service.
Support senior accountants with tax planning and advisory projects.
About you:
2–4 years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm.
Degree in Accounting or Commerce.
Commenced or near completion of CA/CPA program (preferred).
Robust knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail and robust problem-solving skills.
Good communication and time management skills.
