The Principal Consultant will “bridge the gap” between the business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday Finance implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Be a Workday Finance expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing and implementation.
Reinforce company policies and procedures to others.
Drive and make decisions regarding tactical direction of project workstreams.
Identify dependencies and support interplay between different workstreams within a project.
Lead, mentor, and oversee the work of other Consultants within their projects.
Expected to be a Subject matter expert (SME) in Core Financials, Procurement, Projects, and Expenses area.
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
4+ years of Workday Finance and Procurement or any other planning tool implementation experience, required.
10+ years of experience in ERP consulting area. Cloud ERP experience will be an advantage.
Workday Adaptive Financials (Highly Desirable) experience.
Experience in working with another financial ERP system such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle ERP Cloud, or any other tool will be considered for this role.
Background in financial or supply chain roles.
Data driven and solution driven mindset.
Solid relationship and stakeholder management skills.
