The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations seeks a Chief Counsel/First Assistant Secretary to lead the Workplace Relations Legal Division. You will provide independent legal advice to the Minister and department on workplace relations, safety and workers’ compensation matters, and oversee significant litigation.

You will drive legislative reform, coordinate with policy divisions, and lead a high‑performing team to deliver outcomes across the employment landscape.
