An exciting prospect exists for an experienced Export Control Officer to support a major Federal program within a secure environment in Canberra.

In this role, you will ensure compliance with export control regulations including ITAR, EAR and dual-use controls while supporting engineering, technology and program teams operating within a complex defence environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage export permits and licensing activities
Administer Technology Control Plans (TCPs)
Monitor access controls and foreign national screening
Conduct compliance audits and maintain audit-ready records
Investigate compliance incidents and support disclosure reporting
Deliver export control guidance and training across the business
Support governance, risk management and regulatory compliance activities

About You
5+ years' experience in export controls, trade compliance or defence compliance
Robust understanding of ITAR, EAR and strategic goods controls
Experience managing controlled technical data and secure information environments




Proven compliance auditing and records management capability
Strong stakeholder engagement and training experience
Must Current NV1 or NV2 clearance
