I'm currently representing a leading global manufacturer within the solar and energy storage sector that is looking to appoint a Sales director to drive growth across Western Australia's Commercial & Industrial and Utility scale (C&I;) PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) market.

This is an chance to join an established manufacturer with ambitious growth plans across Australia and play a key role in expanding market share, developing strategic channel partnerships, and growing sales across the WA market.

Key Responsibilities
Drive sales growth across Utility scale/C&I; Solar and BESS solutions throughout Western Australia.
Identify, develop and secure recent business opportunities within the commercial energy market.
Build and maintain relationships with distributors, installers, EPCs, developers and channel partners.
Develop and execute territory growth strategies to increase market penetration.
Manage the sales process from prospecting through to contract award.
Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and consistently achieve sales targets.
Represent the business at industry events, customer meetings and networking functions.
Provide regular market intelligence and competitor insights.

Requirements




Minimum 2 years' experience selling Solar PV and/or BESS solutions within Western Australia.
Existing network across installers, distributors, developers amd EPCs or the broader renewable energy market.
Proven hunter mentality with a track record of winning new business and developing new accounts.
Experience working for a solar, battery, inverter, energy storage or related technology manufacturer highly regarded.
Solid commercial acumen and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage a WA territory.
Additional project management experience will be viewed favourably.
