Role details
The Physiotherapy Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Trainee Physiotherapist to join their team on a casual basis.

Your chance
Assist in the delivery of Physiotherapy services to patients, by undertaking duties under the close clinical practice supervision of more experienced Health Practitioners. An allied health student employed at a HP1 level will deliver allocated clinical activities for which they have been trained and assessed as competent. Duties may also include a range of non-clinical activities.
About the Team
Our Physiotherapy Service delivers care to patients, both adults and children,
throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community and rural settings. Our Physiotherapists aim to restore a person's function, maximising their mobility and health and minimising their dysfunction. Treatment is tailored to each individual and is based on the patient's needs.
About our Hospital and Health Service
Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
