Job Description

We have multiple opportunities for experienced Multi Combination Drivers for our busy depot in Hobart.

These positions carry a responsibility for all aspects of Road Transport Rules and Regulations which should be conducted in a competent, safe and law abiding manner with due consideration to an effective and service‑oriented environment.



Completing any local cartage job as delegated by the supervisor can also be required, as well assisting as a forklift operator when necessary.

The majority of the roster will be Monday‑Friday Afternoon Shifts.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Minimum Year 10 Secondary Education (Year 12 preferred)
Class HC Vehicle Licence (MC essential)
MSIC and TAS Ports Inducted (preferred but not essential)
Proven delivery and freight experience
Have a focus to always work safely
Ability to work without direct supervision
Physically fit and willing to do manual handling
Basic knowledge of computer systems
Numeracy and literacy Skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Full knowledge of federal and state road regulations including load restraint and fatigue management
