We are seeking experienced and motivated Recovery Consultants to join our growing team. This is an exciting prospect to work across a diverse portfolio of recoveries, including local government, insurance, motor vehicle, rental vehicle, and financial recoveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage an allocated portfolio of recovery matters from commencement through to resolution.

Conduct telephone negotiations with debtors, insurers, solicitors and other stakeholders.

Review liability, supporting documentation and evidence to determine the most appropriate recovery strategy.

Negotiate settlements, payment arrangements and commercial outcomes.

Maintain accurate file notes and records within the case management system.

Prepare files for legal escalation where required.

Monitor ageing matters and proactively progress files to resolution.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company policies and industry best practices.

Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.





Consistently achieve individual and team performance targets.

Essential:
Minimum 2 years' experience in debt recovery, insurance recoveries, claims recoveries, financial recoveries or a related industry.
Robust negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining attention to detail.
Robust organisational and time management skills.
Confidence using computer systems and case management software.
Professional telephone manner and customer-focused approach.

Highly Regarded:
Experience recovering motor vehicle, rental vehicle or insurance-related debts.
Experience dealing with councils or government recoveries.
Understanding of Australian debt recovery practices and legal processes.
Experience working with insurers, legal firms or financial service providers.
