Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Rigid Heavy Vehicle Truck Operator to join our team at the Brendale Distribution Centre. This permanent, full-time role is essential for ensuring the efficient transportation of goods within our retail operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining our supply chain and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
Operate rigid heavy vehicles in a safe and productive manner, adhering to all road regulations and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in positive working condition.
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.




Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working workplace.

Qualifications:
Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) licence.
Proven experience operating rigid heavy vehicles, preferably in a retail or logistics environment.
Robust understanding of road safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
