Senior Building Services Engineer - Complex Commercial New Build - Sydney

Building Services Engineer role with a leading Tier 2 commercial builder delivering a major complex commercial recent build project in Sydney.

With a strong pipeline of secured work across technical, health, education and commercial projects, this builder has built a reputation for successfully delivering technically challenging projects with a cooperative, well-resourced team environment.

This role will see you working on a large-scale, services-intensive project, supporting the delivery of all building services packages from procurement through to commissioning and handover.

The Role:
Manage and coordinate all services trades (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire)
Review design documentation and drive buildability and value engineering outcomes
Lead services procurement, scope alignment and subcontractor engagement




Oversee installation to ensure compliance with programme, quality and safety requirements
Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Team to integrate services with structure and finishes
Support commissioning, authority approvals and final handover

Required experience:
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or similar
3+ years’ experience working for a head contractor or Tier 1 subcontractor as a Building Services Engineer
Experience delivering complex commercial recent build projects valued $10M+
Strong understanding of services coordination and commissioning
Confident managing subcontractors and consultant relationships
Sound knowledge of the NSW construction market
