About the role
A hands-on, maintenance-based Fitter role covering in-house servicing of fleet requirements, including vac trucks and HPW (high pressure water) equipment. The right person will be self-motivated, work well independently as well as part of a team, and bring a positive attitude to the role.
This role sits within the mechanical space and involves assisting the chemical cleaning business, including mobilisation for shutdowns and process work.

Hours
7:00am -3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Carry out maintenance and servicing on vac trucks and HPW equipment
Rebuild pumps; toolmaking and welding work as required
Go out with the team on chemical cleaning project work
Support shutdowns; role may be hybrid across workshop and fieldwork
Work through maintenance records systematically, maintaining an organised list of tasks
Be the sole/primary operator responsible for maintaining specific equipment types
Requirements
Trade qualification as a Fitter
Pre-employment medical once interviewed
Self-motivated and comfortable working individually
Rebuilding pumps, toolmaking, and/or welding experience highly regarded
Able to think outside the box and bring a creative approach to problem-solving
Positive attitude
