What’s the role?

As a Branch Lending Specialist, you will assist Westpac customers with their dream of owning their own home. You’ll be one of the friendly faces of our branch in Hawthorn, serving both current and existing customers when it’s time to apply for a home loan – or even before then. Using your solid understanding of mortgage products, services and the local market, you’ll build excellent relationships with our customers. Service will become second nature to you as you meet with customers to find out what their financial needs are today and what goals they have for tomorrow, and then match them with the financial products that bring them closer to those goals.

What do I need?
Proven experience working in a customer‑facing organisation, particularly in lending.
Solid people skills to make customers feel confident and well‑supported.
Consistently exceed customer expectations through exceptional service.
Robust business development skills and the ability to network effectively within the community.
