We are seeking staff with exceptional customer service skills and a passion to learn to join our team at Upper Ross Discount Drug Store. Experience is preferred but not necessary.

This pharmacy is an established pharmacy in the community. Our pharmacy has a focus on community engagement and ensuring that they offer the best healthcare service and advice.

Our pharmacy assistants are frontline when customers come into the pharmacy. The highest level of service is expected to be delivered at all times in our pharmacy You will be responsible for sales, top level customer service and giving advice on over the counter medicines where appropriate. In addition to being a team player you will need to have excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude.

A pharmacy assistant is often responsible for many tasks during the day and therefore the ability to multi-task is a must.





It is preferred that the successful applicants have previous pharmacy experience, if not then it would be expected that successful applicant would be willing to do required certificates.

Pay rate is negotiable based on experience.

Weekend work may be required.

You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job.

Roles and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

· Maintain the presentation of the store and service areas

· Process sales through the till

· Greet customers and proactively ask them if they need assistance, and refer to the Pharmacist as required

· Accept prescriptions to be dispensed

· Always work within QCPP standards and follow all Health and Safety legislation

· Sign customers up to the loyalty program and medication reminder programs

· Implement planogram changes

· Help set up catalogues and promotions
