Home Care Worker (Casual Basis, Melbourne)

Join HammondCare as a Home Care Worker to provide essential, practical care to older people in their own homes across North‑West and South‑East Melbourne suburbs. The position is casual with potential to become permanent part‑time.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver day‑to‑day personal care and support clients to live independently.
Build meaningful relationships and offer companionship.
Travel to clients’ homes using your own car; travel time and mileage are paid (US$0.99 per km + paid travel time).

Qualifications and Experience
Patient, people‑person and solutions‑focused.
Previous experience in aged or community care, or a desire to start a career in aged care.
Valid Driver’s Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum Third‑Party Property Insurance).
Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support preferred; training will be provided for those not yet qualified.
Adaptable to meet changing needs of home care clients.

Compensation and Advantages
Hourly rate: US$31.95–$35.44.
Mileage: US$0.99 per km.
Paid travel time.
