Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Team Lead to join their expanding CFO Advisory division.

This is more than just a payroll role. You'll lead a collaborative team delivering outsourced payroll services to a diverse client base while partnering with businesses to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations. You'll also play a key role in mentoring your team, improving processes and helping shape the future of the payroll function.

The Opportunity
Lead, mentor and support a team of payroll professionals
Oversee the end to end delivery of payroll services across a diverse client portfolio
Ensure payroll is processed accurately,



efficiently and in line with Australian legislation
Provide advice on payroll compliance, awards, Fair Work, STP, PAYG and superannuation
Build strong, long term relationships with clients and act as their trusted payroll specialist
Identify prospects to improve systems, workflows and processes
Collaborate with the broader CFO Advisory team to deliver outstanding client outcomes

About You You'll bring:
Previous experience leading or mentoring a payroll team
Solid end to end payroll experience within Australia
Public Practice experience
Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, STP, PAYG and superannuation
Experience managing multiple payrolls across different industries
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
Experience using cloud based payroll systems such as Xero Payroll, Employment Hero, MYOB or similar
