Role Description The Experienced Packaging Printer role is a full time, in office position based in Grasmere, NSW. The role involves operating packaging printing presses and related finishing equipment, setting up and adjusting machinery according to job specifications, and monitoring print quality throughout each run.

The Experienced Packaging

Printer will review job tickets, prepare materials, perform color matching and registration checks, and ensure accurate, timely completion of production jobs. Daily tasks include routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues,



adhering to safety and quality standards, and collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.

Qualifications
Demonstrated experience operating packaging printing presses (e.g., flexographic, offset, or digital) and finishing equipment.
Strong understanding of print production processes, including color theory, registration, substrates, and ink systems.
Ability to read and interpret job tickets, production specifications, and artwork files with attention to detail and accuracy.
Skills in basic mechanical troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and protected operation of printing and finishing machinery.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple jobs and meet production deadlines.
Commitment to workplace health and safety, quality control, and continuous improvement in production practices.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with prepress, design, and finishing staff.
Prior experience in commercial or packaging printing; trade qualification or relevant vocational training in printing is highly regarded.
