Sous Chef | Oxford 152

Oxford 152 is seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership team. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will help lead the team, manage service, and deliver high‑quality dishes in our quick‑paced, premium venue.

About The Role

To apply, you must have 3–4 years of experience in a busy, elevated pub kitchen, relevant trade qualifications, and full availability across 7 days for a rotating roster (days, nights, weekends and public holidays). Day in the Life
Key part of the leadership team, supporting the Head Chef to ensure every service is flawless.
Take charge of shifts, mentor the team, and keep kitchen standards razor‑sharp.
Inspire the crew with expertise and a can‑do attitude, ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen is a work of art.

Inherent Requirements
Hands‑on role involving manual handling and lifting (e.g., moving stock, kegs,



and deliveries) – applicants must perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About You
Solid experience as a Sous Chef in a high‑volume pub or similar setting.
Cooking credentials and food safety certifications are up‑to‑date.
Naturally leading, commanding respect with skills and a cool‑headed approach.
Passionate about creating delicious food that keeps people coming back.
