Specsavers Ashfield is looking for passionate Optical Dispensers and Retail Assistants to join our dynamic team. We are well-established local optical practice who needs a part time or casual optical assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their optical needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment and be part of a growing, customer-focused organisation.
What you'll be doing
Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to all customers
Assisting customers with frame selection, lens recommendations and orders
Accurately measuring and fitting customers for glasses and contact lenses
Processing sales transactions and handling cash and payments
Maintaining a well-presented and organised retail space
Supporting the optometrists and other team members as required
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within the optical industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping customers
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
Versatile and adaptable approach to handle a variety of tasks and changing priorities
A team player with a positive and friendly attitude
Can work independently
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes
