Job Description

Job Title: Night Security Officer / Cleaner Location: Milikapiti Sports Club, Tiwi Islands Key Duties and Responsibilities
Security Duties Patrol the Sports Club premises during operating and after-hours periods. Monitor and control access to the club and surrounding facilities.
Ensure the safety and security of members, visitors, staff, and property. Respond to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, or suspicious behaviour. Conduct routine security inspections and report hazards or maintenance issues.
Secure buildings, doors, windows, and equipment at the end of each shift. Maintain incident logs and complete security reports when required. Liaise with management, emergency services, and local authorities when necessary.




Enforce club rules and promote a protected and respectful workplace.
Cleaning Duties Clean and maintain club facilities including halls, offices, toilets, kitchens, and outdoor areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces. Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Clean and restock toilet facilities with supplies.
Wipe down furniture, tables, benches, and high-contact surfaces. Ensure outdoor areas are free of litter and hazards. Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or cleaning supply shortages.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
