Service Front Desk - Mechanical Workshop

Full-Time Position | Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

A locally owned, family-operated mechanical workshop is looking for a friendly, organised, and motivated Front Counter / Administration Officer to join our team.

As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy workshop.

Front Counter Mechanical Workshop

Full-Time Position | Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

A locally owned, family-operated mechanical workshop is looking for a friendly, organised, and motivated Front Counter / Administration Officer to join our team.

As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy workshop.

Duties will include:
Answering and directing phone enquiries
Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service
Scheduling bookings and managing the workshop diary
Preparing quotes and invoices
Managing workshop workloads and job allocations




Liaising with customers regarding vehicle repairs and progress
General administration duties
Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

The successful applicant will have:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
The ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Valuable computer skills and attention to detail
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Previous administration or reception experience (automotive industry experience is an advantage but not essential)
