Tanunda Automotive Pty Ltd is a growing automotive repair workshop located in Tanunda, South Australia. We are currently looking for a reliable and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities
Perform general vehicle servicing and maintenance
Diagnose mechanical issues using modern diagnostic equipment
Repair and replace engine components, brakes, suspension, and steering systems
Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks
Perform clutch, transmission, and cooling system repairs
Carry out air conditioning servicing and regassing (if licensed)
Assist with auto electrical diagnostics and repairs
Maintain accurate service records and job reports
Ensure all work is completed according to industry safety standards
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment




Communicate effectively with management regarding vehicle repairs

Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience as a Motor Mechanic
Certificate III or IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology
Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
Auto electrical knowledge preferred
ARC/Arctick licence for automotive air conditioning is an advantage
Ability to work independently and within a team
Positive attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s licence preferred
