Role Description The Service Coordinator (Supported Independent Living) is a full-time, on-site role based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. This position is responsible for coordinating SIL services, including managing participant schedules, liaising with support workers, and ensuring services align with NDIS plans and goals. The Service Coordinator monitors the quality of support provided in independent living homes, addresses participant and family inquiries, and maintains accurate documentation and reporting. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating operations, responding to service requests,



supporting smooth communication between stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement of service delivery.

Qualifications
Solid Service Coordination skills, including experience planning, organizing, and overseeing supported independent living or similar services.
Well-developed Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to work effectively with participants, families, support workers, and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of Operations Management to support productive rostering, documentation, compliance, and day-to-day service delivery.
Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on participant satisfaction, responsiveness, and problem resolution.
Understanding of the NDIS framework and person-centered support principles.
Ability to work on-site in independent living settings on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Relevant qualifications in disability support, community services, social work, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic computer literacy and experience using client management or scheduling systems.
