About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Account, CPT Consumer, the Merchandise Planner will drive data-led insights, optimise inventory performance, and support forecasting and pricing decisions across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyse data to provide actionable insights and recommendations

· Manage product performance including stock turn, markdowns, excess stock and GMROI

· Develop merchandise planning strategies, including product mix and promotional plans

· Conduct pricing analysis, including price sensitivity and product substitution impacts

· Collaborate with inventory and account teams to optimise availability and performance





· Analyse sales trends to improve forecasting and identify growth opportunities

What You Bring

· Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset

· Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytics tools

· Experience with sales, inventory or forecasting analysis

· Robust communication and stakeholder engagement skills

· Relevant degree in Business, Analytics, Finance or similar (preferred)

· Exposure to tools such as Power BI, SAP or Qlik (advantageous)
