At Indoor Environmental Consulting & Labs (IECL) we have been specialists in solving Indoor Air Quality problems for over 15 years. Our team is well known for running one of the leading IAQ decontamination business’ in Australia.

Our founders – Warren Moir, Lex Moir & Hermie Moir have the vision to provide an easy way for people to solve any indoor air quality problem for their building. No matter the contamination in your property, we remain focused on having your property secure to occupy as soon as possible, in a transparent and respectful process.

We currently service Brisbane and Sydney with our centrally located offices in Murarrie and Granville respectively. In most cases, we can have a trained and qualified inspector visit your property within a week.

IECL is also one of the only labs in Australia providing DIY mould testing. If you have poor indoor air quality due to mould and would like it tested to see if it is affecting you, please feel free to take the sample yourself with our affordable Do-It-Yourself testing kit. ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Lab Assistant we need you to:
Work collaboratively, in a small team workplace
Have a demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise your workload and work methodically and efficiently to complete tasks on schedule
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
Currently studying (or already possess) a related degree in science
Be able to follow documented procedures and communicate effectively
Possess positive computer literacy, including skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Possess valuable verbal and written communication skills
Have sound knowledge of quality assurance and quality control management practices
Participate in all laboratory activities including safety training, meetings and audit
Comply with all relevant standards, company policies, procedures and work instructions
Operate and perform maintenance on laboratory equipment as required
