Join Komatsu and play a pivotal role supporting our MARC Contract at Batchfire Mine, where you'll be responsible for planning long-term maintenance activities that keep some of the industry's largest mining equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Based in Biloela, this role is responsible for bringing together labour, parts, subcontractors and other resources to deliver secure, timely and cost-effective maintenance across the fleet.
You will play a key role in planning major machine shutdowns, minimising downtime and supporting equipment availability. Working alongside two short-term planners and with day-to-day support from the site manager, you will also provide cover across the planning team when required.
What you’ll bring
A relevant trade qualification, preferably in mobile plant.
Previous experience working with mining equipment.
Demonstrated maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
Experience coordinating shutdowns, resources and maintenance budgets.
Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Confidence working with maintenance systems;
experience with SAP, Dynamics or RM Care would be advantageous.
A team-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively with planners, supervisors, tradespeople, subcontractors and the customer.
Industry experience is essential for this position.
Location: Candidates living outside Biloela may travel to site on Monday and return home on Friday, with camp accommodation provided. Employees residing in Biloela are eligible for a $200 per week zone allowance.
