1. Provide a front counter service to greet and assist visitors in person, providing direction and information about the Darwin Waterfront Corporation and its services.
2. Answer phone calls, manage emails and handle correspondence in a skilled and timely manner.
3. Organise and maintain the electronic filing system to ensure easy access to records and documents.
4. Coordinate office schedules, including management of meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for staff and Board members as required.
5. Provide support and assistance with office supplies, maintaining inventory and general office maintenance.
6. Liaise with clients, vendors and other stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer service.
7. Support the finance team with invoicing, expense tracking and other financial administration tasks.
8. Provide general support to colleagues and management as needed.
Selection criteria
1. Demonstrated interpersonal,
verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact courteously with diverse cultures in a customer focussed service delivery workplace.
2. General administrative skills and computer experience including the ability to determine priorities and meet deadlines, or the ability to obtain quickly.
3. Solid organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency.
4. Proven ability to work independently and as an effective and reliable team member with a sound work ethic.
5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
1. Year 12 certificate of completion or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in administration or customer-service related role.
