We are seeking a dependable Grinder Operator with strong mechanical aptitude to join a manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating grinding equipment, performing quality checks, making machine adjustments to maintain specifications, and ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
Responsibilities
Operate grinding machinery safely and efficiently
Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
Read and use a micrometer for precise measurements
Make minor machine adjustments to maintain product quality and tolerances
Clean and maintain grinding equipment as needed
Monitor production and report mechanical or quality concerns
Follow safety and production procedures
Qualifications
Mechanical background or strong mechanical aptitude required
Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to read and use measuring tools such as a micrometer
Solid attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
