Kahan Group is seeking an experienced hospitality-focused finance professional to join our growing business and help take pressure off day-to-day operational admin while improving financial reporting, systems and accountability across the group.
This is not a standard bookkeeping role.
We are looking for someone who understands hospitality operations, can work closely with venue management and ownership, and can help build accurate, real-time reporting systems that actually support decision making.
You will work across multiple hospitality businesses including high-volume venues, events and entertainment operations.
About the Role
This role is a mix of:
management accounting
bookkeeping oversight
systems management
operational reporting
process improvement
finance administration leadership
You will be expected to take ownership of reporting accuracy, improve workflows and reduce operational admin pressure on venue management and directors.
Key Responsibilities
Weekly P&L; reporting with true and accurate financial visibility
Cashflow and creditor reporting
Oversight of payables, invoice processing and reconciliations
Weekly labour and COGS reporting
Integration and management of hospitality systems
Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing better processes
Supporting venue management with financial accountability
Leading projects to minimise manual admin work across operations
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and business planning
Working closely with ownership on strategic finance projects
Systems Experience Required
Strong experience with

Lightyear
Cooking the Books
Hospitality finance experience is essential.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years hospitality finance/accounting experience
Robust understanding of venue operations
Ability to work in a quick-paced hospitality environment
High attention to detail
Solid communication and leadership skills
Someone proactive who solves problems rather than waiting to be told what to do
Experience improving systems and workflows highly regarded
Salary
Salary will be based on experience and capability.
