The role reports to the Engineering Supervisor. You will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of plant equipment across a busy manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
Preventative and breakdown maintenance.
Mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting.
Maintenance of conveyors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, bearings and motors.
Planned maintenance and shutdown work.
Equipment installation and upgrades.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with production to minimise downtime.
Qualifications
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.
Previous experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar industrial environment.
Solid mechanical fault‑finding skills.
Experience maintaining production and processing equipment.
A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
