The position suits an experienced Wet Pipe Fire Suppressions System Designer with competency & experience modelling 3D fire systems using Revit, confirming co-ordination using Navisworks & drafting 2D fire systems using AutoCAD. Experience working with MicroBIM Fire tools for Revit is also a requirement for 3D design processes.

Competency & experience using Revizto & ACC/Forma may be an advantage but is not essential.

Undertaking hydraulic calculations using Hyena & experience applying the BCA/NCC, Australian & International Standards and local authority & legislation requirements to design processes are essential as are valuable all round communication skills.

The ability to work with others as part of a team & also individually with minimal supervision is required & this opportunity will provide a mix of time based in the office, on site & at home for the successful applicant.

Tertiary &/or Industry level qualification/training in fire systems design or related engineering may be an advantage however is not essential as would be a general construction industry training card as required for construction site visits.
