We are hiring a Head Chef to lead one of our flagship Italian venues in East maitland. This is an prospect to take ownership of a well-established kitchen within a growing restaurant group known for quality, consistency, and strong team culture.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the full kitchen operation, leading a team, driving food quality, and maintaining solid cost control. This role suits a chef who enjoys both creativity and structure, and who can deliver consistently in a high-volume environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
Leading, training, and developing the kitchen team
Managing service to ensure quality and consistency
Menu input and seasonal updates aligned with our Italian concept
Stock control, ordering, and supplier management
Managing food cost, wage targets, and kitchen KPIs
Ensuring compliance with food safety and WHS standards

What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens




Solid leadership and communication skills
Solid understanding of food cost control and kitchen systems
Passion for Italian cuisine (traditional or modern)
Reliable, organised, and hands-on
