Experienced Civil Supervisors – Multiple Prospects | West Queensland
LO-GO Appointments is currently recruiting a number of experienced Civil Supervisors for council-based assignments across West Queensland. These positions are available for an immediate start and are offered on an initial 6 month contract. Successful candidates will be responsible for supervising the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across Flood Damage Reconstruction, TMR and Roads to Recovery programs, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, contractual requirements and relevant legislation.

Negotiable hourly rate.
Travel costs covered at the commencement and completion of the assignment.
Fully maintained vehicle and accommodation provided for the duration of the contract.
Monday to Friday roster, working 10-hour days.
Key Requirements
Demonstrated experience supervising civil construction, road maintenance and infrastructure projects, including Flood Damage Reconstruction, TMR and/or Roads to Recovery programs.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including Workplace Health and Safety and risk management.
Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications and project documentation, with an understanding of job costing.
Experience implementing and monitoring Traffic Management, Environmental Management and Safety Management Plans.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to coordinate employees, contractors and project resources.
Relevant qualifications (such as Certificate III in Civil Construction, Road Construction and Maintenance or equivalent), with local government experience highly regarded.
Current General Construction Induction (White Card).
Minimum C Class Driver Licence.
Ability to commence immediately and willingness to work away from home for the duration of the contract.
