Company Accountant | Construction Industry | Up to $140K

Charterhouse are partnering with a growing organisation within the construction sector to appoint a Company Accountant to join their team.

This is a broad and hands-on finance role reporting directly to the CFO and Directors, providing the chance to take ownership across the finance function while partnering closely with project teams and operational stakeholders.

The role will see you responsible for financial reporting, month-end processes, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, statutory compliance, audit coordination and maintaining strong financial governance across the business.

You will also play a key role supporting project financial outcomes, including WIP reporting, project cost reviews, progress claims, variations, retentions and cost-to-complete analysis. The position will oversee one direct report within Accounts Payable and work closely with the wider Contracts Administration team to support project requirements.





The successful candidate will ideally have experience within a Company Accountant, Senior Accountant or similar role, with exposure to construction, property, engineering, infrastructure or another project-based environment. Solid commercial understanding, stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work closely with non-finance teams will be highly valued.

Experience using Xero and working within a project-focused setting will be advantageous.
