Kickstart your career in automotive with Tesla’s 2027 Apprentice Vehicle Technician program! This 3-year Apprenticeship Program is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience through full time work in our Service Centres, while simultaneously studying to obtain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology). At Tesla, you’ll work in a high tech, fast-paced setting with supportive management, mentorship and guidance from our expert Tesla technicians.

You’ll be working on cutting-edge electric vehicles, advanced diagnostics software and proprietary service systems. This program is a pathway to becoming a fully qualified Service Technician. Support the wider Tesla Service Team in delivering outstanding customer experiences

Learn and perform basic vehicle servicing, inspections and maintenance under supervision

Learn to use diagnostic tools and automotive software systems

Valid driver’s license

Be eligible to enroll with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and complete a Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology

Robust communication, time management and attention to detail
