: About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a broad range of civil infrastructure projects.
The role includes: Preparing detailed civil construction estimates and tender submissions
Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation
Developing construction methodologies and programmes
Coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing
Assessing commercial and contractual risks
Supporting value engineering and alternative methodology reviews
Working closely with operational teams to ensure practical delivery outcomes
Participating in client meetings, site inspections and tender interviews
Projects will typically include: Bulk earthworks
Roadworks and pavements
Drainage and utilities
Structures and retaining walls
Urban development infrastructure
Renewable and infrastructure civil works Profile description: About You We are seeking a practical and commercially minded estimator with strong civil construction knowledge and a cooperative approach.
You will ideally have: 5+ years’ experience in civil construction estimating
Experience pricing infrastructure and urban civil projects
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and production rates
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail and strong commercial acumen
Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related qualifications
Experience with estimating software and advanced Excel capability
