About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Factory Hand to join the team. You will be responsible for loading and operating cutting-edge CNC machinery, preparing flat-pack staircases, and ensuring products are safely stacked for dispatch.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with factory or labouring experience, or a wood machinist looking for a new challenge. Full training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and operate state-of-the-art cutting machinery and software
Forklift operation (must be licensed)
Assemble solid timber stair components
Measure and cut timber accurately
Use of hand, power, and air tools
Assist with loading/unloading products
General warehouse and housekeeping duties
Ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
Must hold a current forklift licence
Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or wood machining role desirable
Reliable, punctual, and physically fit (lifting up to 10–16kg required)
Robust attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Valuable communication skills and a positive “can-do” attitude
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Willingness to learn and grow within the timber manufacturing industry
Commitment to workplace safety
Reliable transport and steel-capped boots required
