Award Signs is a long-established Signage company servicing a broad range of clients including commercial, mining, and small business. We design, manufacture and either install or dispatch our signs as required to meet the needs of our clients.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Factory All Rounder to provide support to our Signmakers on the factory floor and to take responsibility for the packing and shipping of company goods. Duties of the role include the following:
Provide assistance to Signmakers in the weeding and applying graphics in our workshop, laminating prints onto sign panels & the making up of signs ready for dispatch or installing.
Ensure all jobs are packed securely and safely.
Label all deliveries correctly and with sufficient detail to ensure accurate delivery.
Picking up & dropping off deliveries in our Company vehicle.
Keep records of all inbound and outbound items in line with company policy.
Ensure safe operation of the forklift to move and store stock appropriately.
ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate will have:
A valid manual Drivers Licence.
Forklift Licence (would be an advantage)
Proven ability to work under pressure, and multi-task, ensuring effective time management of workflow to meet deadlines.
A focus on OSH and commitment to actively maintaining a safe work environment.
Solid communication skills, a positive attitude and an ability to work well as part of a team.
Basic computer skills.
Previous experience in a similar role.
