About the Role

Reporting to the Sous Chef and Executive Sous Chef, you’ll support day-to-day kitchen operations — preparing quality dishes, learning recent techniques, and helping keep service running like clockwork.

Day to day you’ll be:
Preparing ingredients and mise en place to the standard set by our senior chefs
Cooking and plating dishes with consistency, colour, texture and flavour front of mind
Following recipes, portion sizes and quality standards under guidance
Learning new techniques,



cuisines and menu items as you grow into the role
Keeping your section clean, organised and HACCP-compliant
Checking deliveries and rotating stock for freshness and quality
Supporting your fellow chefs during busy services

What We’re Looking For
Certificate in Commercial Cookery (or currently completing your apprenticeship), or equivalent experience
Some experience in a skilled kitchen; high-volume experience a bonus
Food Handling Certificate preferred, with a working knowledge of HACCP
A genuine passion for food, hospitality and learning from the best
A team player who takes direction well and brings a positive attitude
Flexibility to work wide-ranging shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
