Rick Ashton Electrical is a locally operated Electrical, Air-Conditioning and Solar contractor based in Bowen, North Queensland. We have positions available primarily carrying out domestic and commercial work. We are seeking a fully qualified Electricians with Air-conditioning experience preferred.

Free short term accommodation is available for the applicant during probation if required along with company rental which can be packaged in to rate upon completion of probation.

The ideal applicant will need to have:

Outstanding attitude and customer focused

Self motivating with ability to work individually and in a team

Attention to detail and outstanding multi-tasker

Current manual drivers licence In Australia: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3

Ability to read and understand technician user manual along with a willingness to keep up to date with recent technologies





Responsibilities include

Electrical repairs, replacement of faulty parts, connections and wiring using hand and power tools

Diagnose malfunctioning systems, appliances and components using testing equipment to locate the defects and resolve the issue

Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures

Train workers to install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures The following would be ideal however not essential:

Air-conditioning experience

CEC licence

Data licences

Switchboard and control wiring experience

Salary

Rate $40-$50 per hr plus penalties depending on experience, take home work vehicle, ipad, super. Monday to Friday role.

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
